Beans + Water is designed to answer one question without setup. These are the few details worth knowing.

What does the large number mean?

It is the total grams of water for the coffee dose and ratio shown below it. Put coffee on the scale first, enter that dose, then pour to the water target.

Why did a shared recipe change slightly?

Brew Cards are safely constrained to the useful ratio and dose range for their method. Malformed links and unsupported future versions are not opened.

Where are my recipes?

Each brew method remembers its latest recipe locally. There is no cloud recipe library or account to recover because the app does not create one.

When will the app be available?

The iPhone, Apple Watch, widget, Shortcut, and App Clip surfaces are being prepared for App Store distribution. The website calculator and browser Brew Cards are available now.
